After a long scripted romance with Neka Kakkar in Indian Idol, well known singer and host Aditya Narayan finally got hitched with his long term girlfriend Shweta Agarwal in a small temple wedding on December 1, 2020. The wedding was attended by only the closest of the family members and friends. His on screen love interest Neka Kakkar also got married with Rohanpreet Singh recently in a small wedding ceremony.
Aditya and Shweta had met on the sets of movie Shaapit, after which they started dating each other for nearly a decade before getting married. Aditya decided to go for a low key wedding due to the on going pandemic. The bride and groom were dresses in ivory on their big day. Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal also received congratulatory messages from PM Narendra Modi and Amitabh Bachchan.
After a low-key wedding with just family and close friends, Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal were joined by celebrities from TV and Bollywood as they hosted a grand wedding reception. Dressed in a black tuxedo, Aditya looked quite dashing as he was joined by his bride, looking gorgeous in a floor-length red ensemble. She completed her look with heavy diamond jewellery. They were seen welcoming guests along with their parents, singer Udit Narayan and mother Deepa.
The duo has been enjoying marital bliss and will soon be shifting to their dream marital house which is just three buildings away from Aditya’s parents’ house. Recently, Aditya opened up about the price of the house that he has bought to spend his life in with his wife and left everyone shocked.
A couple of months back, Aditya Narayan ruled the headlines after in one of his interviews he claimed that he has gone bankrupt. However, he later clarified that he hasn’t gone bankrupt and has been working for long to be able to carry himself. In a recent interview with Spotboye, when he was asked if the new home he purchased costs Rs 4 cr, the singer said that people have underestimated him. He said, “Ha ha. So little? Market price kam likh di. It actually cost me Rs 10.5 crores. I’ve been working since I was a child. Television pays a lot.”
